ANZAI MEMBERSHIP

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?

All professions have an association who set standards and ethics required by practitioners in the profession. Being a member of ANZAI gives clients a guarantee that the audiometrist meets a required standard and if the standard is not met there is a means of assuring that a satisfactory outcome to any dispute can be achieved.

A Full Member is also guaranteed the resources of the Association to support and advise in situations where ethics or service are in question.

It is a requirement that all Full Members obtain 40 Continuing Education Points every two years. This assures that they continue to improve and update their knowledge.

HOW DO I JOIN ANZAI?

Anyone can join ANZAI as an Associate Member by applying either to a Committee Member or this website, giving details of employment and two references.

For Full Membership an audiometrist must have TAFE Audiometry Diploma or its equivalent, two years subsequent supervised practical experience and have passed the ANZAI examination.

Points every two years. This assures that they continue to improve and update their knowledge.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO BE A MEMBER?

At the present time Annual membership fees are as follows:

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP $50
ASSOCIATE / PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP $50
FULL MEMBERSHIP $50
